Project description
The challenge
The libraries at Romdeng Primary School and Ponro Primary School had become dull and uninviting spaces. Students rarely felt drawn to them, which limited how often they picked up a book and made it harder to build reading habits outside the classroom.
Our solution
In early 2025, Kamboo Project renovated the libraries at both schools with the support of our dedicated volunteers. Together we cleaned, repainted and decorated the rooms, turning them into brighter and more welcoming environments full of colour, inspiration and warmth.
The impact
Students are now more motivated to step inside and engage with books. A clean, friendly library plays an essential role in every child’s learning journey — improving these spaces not only enhances literacy, but also helps students build confidence, curiosity and imagination.
