Your donation to BAMBOOS can change a life! You give vulnerable children and young people in Cambodia hope, education, and belief in a better future. Right now, our main focus is to get as many children into school as possible.
A bicycle, a school uniform, or a simple breakfast can be the deciding factor in whether a child gets to attend school. In close collaboration with families and schools, we assess exactly what is needed for each child to succeed – and often, it takes very little.
All donations go directly and uncut to the children and their families – no administration costs. We personally follow up on every single donation.

School uniform, shoes, and a school bag – the school uniform is mandatory, and families are expected to pay for it themselves. For many, this is not possible. But the uniform is more than just clothing – it is a symbol of hope, pride, and the possibility of a better future.

Pencil case, calculator, notebooks, and water bottle – schools do not provide materials – every child must bring their own. For the poorest families, this is simply impossible. A filled pencil case gives a child the tools to believe in themselves and their education.

Rice support for families – 6 months of schooling – when a child attends school, the family loses income. Your support provides enough rice to ease the burden and help vulnerable families make the best choice for their child’s future – and eventually become self-reliant.

School breakfast for one child – 6 months – many children arrive at school without having eaten. They are tired, unfocused, and often leave early. A healthy morning meal gives them energy, presence, and a real chance to learn.

A new bicycle – for many children in rural areas, the distance to school is a major barrier. Without transport, they must stay home or drop out. A bicycle makes daily attendance possible. Your support gives a child their own bike – and with it: freedom, a future, and access to education.

We have approval from the Danish tax authorities under Section 8 A of the Danish Tax Assessment Act, which means we can offer substantial tax deductions. Tax deductions are available only to individuals or businesses who pay taxes in Denmark.
