Project description
The challenge
The leaking roof of the school library was a constant threat to the books, causing damage and the loss of valuable resources. The poorly insulated roof also made the library so hot that it was difficult for the children to focus and enjoy their time there.
Our solution
The roof of the library was renovated to keep out the rain and reduce the heat inside.
The impact
The new roof now shields the books from damage, keeping them in good condition for years to come. It has also created a cooler, safer and more comfortable space where the children can read, learn and explore their imaginations without leaks or excessive heat.
Made possible by
This project was made possible by an individual donation. Thank you for the support.
