Project description
The challenge
Long journeys to school increase the risk of dropping out, especially among girls and children from low-income families in rural Cambodia.
Our solution
As part of our yearly bicycle initiative, 42 bicycles were distributed to students from two rural primary schools: 21 students at Momeanh Primary School (including 14 girls) and 21 students at Tebanh Senchey Primary School (including 16 girls).
The impact
The bicycles help students save time and energy and arrive at school safely and ready to learn.
