Project description

The challenge

The young children in the kindergarten classroom had to move around, sit and play on a damaged concrete floor with bare feet – uncomfortable, unhygienic and far from a good learning environment.

Our solution

The floor of the kindergarten classroom was renovated with new flooring.

The impact

The new floor provides a comfortable, clean and safe space for sitting and play, greatly enhancing the hygiene and well-being of the young learners. The teacher can now run a wider variety of activities, and the children’s uniforms stay clean throughout the day.

Made possible by

We extend our deepest gratitude to Bill and Sister Sophal for their generous support, which has transformed the learning environment and fulfilled a long-held aspiration of the teaching staff.
