Project description

The challenge

Vulnerable children living with a single parent or grandparents often lack the basic school supplies they need to attend school.

Our solution

Following the distribution of 170 packages at one primary school on 20 March 2024, we delivered 50 packages to vulnerable children at Boeung Chum Primary School (21 girls and 6 boys) and Run Ta Eak Primary School (17 girls and 6 boys), as well as to another 12 families in need. Each package contained notebooks, pens, pencils, rulers, art materials, flip-flops, a water bottle, a school bag and two sets of uniforms.

The impact

The contents of each package were carefully selected to cover the students’ needs for nearly an entire school year.

Made possible by

We extend our heartfelt thanks to SE Asia Foundation and our partners for their unwavering support.

Voices from the school community
