Project description
The challenge
Local libraries in state schools needed support to create a more inviting atmosphere for reading.
Our solution
With funds from the SE Asia Foundation, KAMBOO Project went beyond delivering books: we provided decoration consultations for librarians and organised engaging reading activities.
The impact
The initiative has significantly motivated both teachers and students, and observations show that students are thoroughly enjoying the new additions. The support reaches over 300 students at Ta Ei Primary School and more than 450 students at Phum Steung Primary School.
