Project description
The challenge
Many disadvantaged students in rural areas face long journeys to school, which makes it harder to arrive on time and increases the risk of dropping out.
Our solution
In the second semester of 2024, our Mobility Programme delivered 60 bicycles, including 27 for girls, to carefully selected, disadvantaged students at Ta Pang, Ta Pok and Kirimonon Primary Schools.
The impact
Each bicycle enables a student to reach school on time, energised and ready to learn, to stay in school and reduce the risk of dropping out, and to pursue their education with hope for a brighter future.
Made possible by
A heartfelt thank you to our two donors, Finanzmesse.ch and Veloplus, for making this possible.
