BAMBOOS is a Danish non-profit NGO that aims to make a tangible difference for Cambodians by building and improving public schools, strengthening the local community, paving the way to future jobs, creating lasting impact, and offering Danish youth a life-changing experience as volunteers at the schools – offering them an experience of a lifetime while making a real difference for children and young people who need it the most.
Every single donation goes directly and uncut to our work in Cambodia – with no administration costs in Denmark – so each donation truly matters.
10 years of combined experience in Cambodia
In early 2026 we joined forces with locally based Kamboo Project. BAMBOOS now carries forward the complete legacy of Kamboo Project, including its experienced Cambodian team, projects and results. Since the beginning we have both been working on the same schools, with the same families in the same communities, obtaining a strong combined experience.
